Kylito and the Salsas

Our Story

Kyle Lancaster

Kyle Lancaster

Hailing from Lubbock, Tx,  Kyle Lancaster moved to Austin in 2013 to support his growing business, Kylito's Salsa Co. While the move was intended to be a temporary one, Kyle met his future wife, Jenny,  while demoing his salsa at HEB. This move turned out to be permanent, and because of this twist of fate, Kyle would eventually meet Jason Richard, Austin producer & musician extraordinaire.

Together they would bring Kyle's original songs to life.  The collaboration was only meant for one song, but as  time marched on the amount of songs increased in number and energy. With 30 plus years of experience in the music business, Jason was the driving technical force that matched perfectly with Kyle's song writing style, and the result is the unique sound & groove of Kylito & The Salsas.

The flavor of Kylito & The Salsas may be hard to describe; Alternative Americana, Indie, Progressive Country, Pop Rock, or just a mix of them all. One thing is certain, this  "Eclectic Electric" album has cool, entertaining songs created by Kyle, Jason, and an ensemble of talented and  hard-working Austin musicians. Enjoy!
